Solve Climate 2030 Worldwide Teach-In – 20% discount for participating ViVA Engagements

ViVA is excited to announce a special 20% discount for contracted engagements that are registered as part of Bard College’s Solve Climate 2030 Teach-In for Climate and Justice planned for this spring. Even if you or your organization are not able to schedule a program for March 30th – the official Teach-In date – both ViVA and Solve Climate 2030 will recognize your spring event or program if you register your program through the initiative’s website interface. ViVA engagements booked for March-April 2022 will receive the reduced fees.

The goal of this international interdisciplinary event is to bring together more than 1 million students to discuss climate change and necessary actions to mitigate the impact of global warming. ViVA entered into partnership with Solve Climate 2030 to encourage participation in this important initiative among the arts, and museums and galleries. We stand ready to help organize high-impact programs that bring together students, faculty, museum and gallery professionals, museum and community members, trustees, alumni and college administrators. For our fall and winter information and brainstorming sessions ViVA developed a series of ideas (PDF) to get our gallery and museum colleagues thinking creatively about what they could do on their campuses. Check it out!

We are also able to help you brainstorm specific ways to link your collections and exhibitions with the topic of climate change and environmental justice. If you can’t squeeze a Teach-In event into your current schedule, consider getting a head start for next year – the Solve Climate 2030 program will continue beyond 2022!
